Boxes-
The boxes are enhanced with the weave, typically featured in the center of the lid. Most are made with Honduran Mahogany. Different wood combinations are always a possibility and a client's input is always welcome. Some of the larger versions have been made with an accompanying table to create a stand alone piece. Jewelry boxes - Humidors and Cannadors are among some of the popular uses. Each box is meticulously lined depending on it's function.

Mirrors -
The mirrors come in all shapes and sizes. All feature the weave and are found in a wide array of designs from basic and straight-forward to broken pediments with intricate buildups featuring dental moldings and the like. The smallest comes in at 12 "x 16" and to date the largest was 5' wide and 3' tall and could be found behind the bar at 'The Summer House' Restaurant. The center piece had an incredible scrimshaw depicting a White Whale stoving in a whaleboat . (Props to the old Moby Dick Restaurant) That and the Humidor they had purchased and featured in the fireplace area were very popular. Somebody liked them well enough to steal them. Keep an eye out! Architectural Elements-
Recently I decided to introduce a collection architectural elements. I spent a lot of time tinkering with designs and mock ups when the world was put on hold during the pandemic. Having decades of experience "running trim" in homes it helped knowing how these various pieces would need to be installed. These include Newel Posts, Fireplace Mantels, Door and Window trim to name a few. Plans for a "Nantucket Room" are in the works where the Lightship Basket Weave will be integrated into Wainscoting as well.

Frames-
Adorned with the signature basketweave as an ornamental element, framed wedding invitations are some of the more popular items I create. In some cases the clients choose to enlarge the invitation itself creating a bigger version. It's a great way to commemorate the occasion especially if it's a Nantucket affair.

This is a category that is far reaching. There are always a couple of projects in the works that are my personal favorites like the Blanket Chest, boxes and mirrors. Experience dictates that it makes the most sense to work with the client for these pieces. Instead of it being almost exactly what you want, we get it right the first time.
